Pamela Copeland - Painter of Pastels in Southern Alberta
Welcome to Pamela Copeland's website - take a few moments to explore the diverse images and inspiration of this Canadian artist and remember to click on the thumbnail images of any piece that you wish to see in a larger version.
Moved from over 20 years living in the dense forests of Edson, Alberta to the rolling hills and plains of southern Alberta, Pamela works out of a studio that her husband converted from a garage. She works much of the time in soft pastels but also creates with mixed media, monoprints, pen and ink, graphite and watercolor and is further exploring the mediums of acrylic and oil.
Pamela has completed and exhibited several solo shows at the University of Alberta Extension Gallery, Electrum Gallery, Royal Alexandra Hospital, Fringe Gallery and the Red Brick Arts Centre and Museum. She has also shown regularly in zone shows and at the provincial level of the Alberta Community Art Club Association, in the Red Deer and District Museum. Her work has been accepted in juried shows for VAAA in Edmonton, Alberta.
Pamela is pleased to include the Late Lieutenant Governor of Alberta, Lois Hole, Lori-Ann Muenzer - Canadian Olympic Cycling Gold Medalist and Robert Wyatt, Executive Director - Muttart Foundation, among the purchasers of her work.
Please to not hesitate to contact Pamela if you have questions regarding any of the work you see on this site. *If you are interested in purchasing work, please note that shipping and handling charges apply above the stated price of the work and will depend on the variable size, etc. of each piece.
